A two-day Agroecology Workshop was successfully conducted at Chhaharee Farm, Kauche, Sindhuli, in collaboration with Youth Climate Justice and Agroecology Nepal. The workshop brought together 17 young participants for an interactive learning, reflection, and practical engagement process centered on agroecology and sustainable food systems.
The workshop explored diverse themes, including systems thinking, the monoculture of the mind, perception analysis, the journey of seeds, living soil, soil-related decision-making, and the journey of water. Through participatory discussions, group exercises, reflection sessions, and farm-based learning activities, participants explored how soil, water, seeds, biodiversity, food, people, and the environment are interconnected within agricultural systems.
The programme also included guided farm learning, collective reflection, creative activities, and opportunities for participants to share their ideas, experiences, and commitments. The active participation and strong commitment demonstrated by the young participants made the workshop a meaningful and inspiring learning experience.
